Staff Sargent Courtney Collins is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Administration at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 425, Mississippi State University, Starkville, Mississippi. As the Administration NCOIC, she oversees daily operations of 100 cadets and manages personnel records for cadre, Air Force Institute of Technology, Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program, and Senior Leader Enlisted Commissioning Program students. She ensures cadets are medically cleared, reviewer of all travel vouchers, contracting and commissioning, and the liaison between Detachment 425 and the Holm Center.  

Sergeant Collins enlisted in the Air Force on 20 March 2018 from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She attended technical training as a Cryptologic Linguist at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey Bay, California from June 2018 to April 2020 where she was awarded an Associates of Arts degree in Language Studies with a focus in the Pashto language. She completed technical training at Keesler Air Force Base (AFB) from November 2020 to June 2021 as Administration. She then went on to her first duty station at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Sergeant Collins spent two years as the Administrative Executive Assistant for the Postal Flight Chief and Commander of the 786 Force Support Squadron (FSS), and then one year as the Assistant Postmaster at Southside Post Office, 786 FSS.

During her time at Ramstein Air Base, SSgt Collins was an integral member of the linguist team, utilizing her Pashto language skills, during OPERATION ALLIES REFUGE and OPERATION ALLIES WELCOME in 2021. This accomplishment garnered her the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Air and Space Commendation Medal.
