CAPT LT KAREEN LACROIX, USAF
Captain Kareen Lacroix was the Acting Program Manager of Mobility Air Force Tactical Data Links (MAF-TDL), Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. MAF-TDL provides MAF aircrews with real-time mission retasking capability, improved battle space situational awareness which sends/receives real-time drop zone changes, monitors threat environments, and de-conflicts close air support.
MAF-TDL also provides secure BLOS capabilities as well as secure LOS capabilities, supporting AMC's C-17 and C-130Js and the USAF National Guard and Reserve Forces, integrating a secure data infrastructure while being compatible with Real-Time Information in the Cockpit (RTIC).
Captain Lacroix earned her commission through the Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery AL. She served in United States Navy for 15 years prior to commissioning in the Air Force in 2019. Captain Lacroix began her Navy career in the reserves but served on Active Duty for Special Work for 11 years as a Leading Petty Officer on recruiting duty and Funeral Honors.
Captain Lacroix is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Mississippi State University, Starkville MS.
